Calendar

Our “TURBOCal"  Hard or, Soft Nip Calendar ( 1x2 or, 2x2 or, 1x3) comprises of a swimming roll TURBORoll CC and water / oil heated TURBORoll VT. The top roll is fixed to the frame. Loading is done by external hydraulic cylinders via the bottom roll.

Due to the installation of a deflection compensated roll it is possible to achieve a uniform line load distribution over the entire sheet width and line load range. This type of calendar allows a very flexible adjustability of the nip load and temperature.
