GapCon was a dream conceptualised by Mr. W.Wiertz former COO of Kuesters Beloit along with potent support from Mr. W.Mark also of Kuesters. Both are icons in calender technology with nearly 80 years of combined experience. GapCon‘s objectives is to offer OEM’s and paper Mills an independent source for modern deflection compensating rolls at Press and calender apart from Complete Calenders both soft and hard Nip etc and access to their knowledge on a long term basis. In principal it has been agreed that JAYKAY and GapCon would strengthen their relationship and activities in the market to bring to Indian customer’s for the first time access to modern state of art calenders. Special emphasis will be given to rebuild conventional calenders to single nip configuration with VariCon CC deflection compensating and VariTherm heated roll.
