Since last 30 years, JAYKAY has been striving to help Indian Paper Mills “know the unknown. In order to help the Indian paper Industry gear up and adopt technology driven production, our influence has reached a domain comprising of a 50 tpd mill to the largest 600tpd mill.

Our constant endeavor has been towards establishing and bringing to the doorsteps of Indian Paper Mills, new and latest technology which has a direct influence on Paper quality and Machine run ability which is enumerated below

For the first time JAYKAY introduced the concept of Vecoplan Drum Chipping for 100% Bamboo to Andhra Pradesh Paper in 1975. Since then VECOPLAN has bagged most of the contracts for Drum chippers in India at JK Paper, West Coast paper, Hindustan paper, etc.

With the advent of higher machine speed ,the 1st Steel covered Spreader Roll in India for dry end was supplied to ITC from Stowe Woodward AG formerly Wittler.

With focus shifting to waste paper and Agricultural material the 1st Slotted basket was introduced and supplied by FINKH to Tamil Nadu and Mysore paper. FINCKH remained the largest supplier of baskets in India from 1980 till 2001 prior to its take over by Voith.

The 1st Ceramic Uhle Box was supplied through Corbellini S.p.A , Wefapress Werkstoffe to Voith Paper for Hindustan Newsprint Ltd rebuild. Today Corbellini is an established player in the market.

Bonetti
bagged its first big order for Doctor Holders for a complete machine from Rama Newsprint & Papers Ltd, the largest secondary fiber mill in India, at the same time the concept of Twin Flexible Doctoring system at Centre Roll was introduced in Shreyans Industries Ltd. Today most of the secondary fiber and agricultural mills in India have a Bonetti twin flexible doctoring system " BONTWIN" at centre Press roll. Till date nearly 90% of the machines have been supplied or rebuild with Bonetti Holders and systems

In order to eliminate galvanic corrosion in anionic environment at in Emami and ITC , for the first time in India a SS shell from MWN was installed at couch and Former, which has since become a trend.

Walzen Irle made its presence felt with the supply of the first peripheral drilled heated Roll in India to Voith Paper India for Khanna Paper and Murali Agro paper Mill. Since the year 2001 ,80% of new Indian machines have an Irle roll.

For the 1st time in India and World Century Pulp and paper invested in a 100TPD Taster Pith dewatering unit which enables them to use the dried pith as a fuel for the Boiler. Return of investments was calculated within 6 months. The Equipment was supplied by Neyrtec

The 1st non contact IR Erhardt + Leimer guide in India was sold to Hindustan Paper Corporation. Erhardt + Leimer Guides remain the largest selling guides and in India, with supplies to nearly 80% of all the projects since 1999. Our efforts have also led to establishing Erhardt + Leimer stretcher for wire and Press section. The first imported wire stretcher in Satia Paper mill has lead to a payback within 3 months.

For the 1st time in India a PROJET water jet Tail Cutter was supplied to Khanna Paper and a modern Dry End Tail Cutter imported for the 1st time in India to Ballarpur Industries Ltd. As a matter of fact the 1st HP Fabric Cleaning System for Press Section was sold to Khanna and ITC.

Gapcon was able to rebuild a décor paper machine Calander in ITC Ltd to achieve a smoothness level lowest in the country. This was the first big order executed by Gapcon. The 1st Swimming Roll manufactured by GAPCON was sold to Abhishek Industries Ltd.

To further accentuate and refocus on our core competence in Paper machine auxiliaries and equipments, contract has been signed with the following organisations totally unknown in the Indian market , however some with known concepts.

  • VIB systems Spray systems and Steam shower.
  • Holscot teflon cover of Drier and paper Rolls
  • Lanex Carrier ropes
  • CTP Coating formulation and improvement.

Our Focus is firm and has been the paper machine and corresponding efforts towards improving the quality of the Paper remains unaltered.
